EN I just received my first Canada Council grant for my project Entre Mundos (Between Worlds)! It’s an interdisciplinary exploration of the immigrant experience. I’ll be going to South America for the next 3.5 months to interview my family on their experiences living under dictatorship, going into exile, immigrating to Canada then (for some of them) returning to South America. I’ll be taking photos and writing songs throughout then exhibiting the interviews, photos and songs in Montreal, Montevideo and Santiago de Chile! Join my mailing list or patreon to stay up to date and watch behind the scenes videos of this adventure!
EN Here is the first song I’ve completed for the project. It was inspired by my father’s experiences in exile. The spoken word section are his own words.
