Big News! / Grande nouvelle !
I just received my first Canada Council grant for my project Entre Mundos (Between Worlds)! It’s an interdisciplinary exploration of the immigrant experience. I’ll be going to South America for the next 3.5 months to interview my family on their experiences living under dictatorship, going into exile, immigrating to Canada then (for some of them) returning to South America. I’ll be taking photos and writing songs throughout then returning to Montreal to exhibit the interviews, photos and songs!
